Briar is a messaging app specifically designed to cater to the needs of activists, journalists, and individuals seeking a secure, user-friendly, and reliable mode of communication. Distinguishing itself from traditional messaging apps, Briar operates without relying on a central server; instead, messages are directly synchronized between users' devices. In times of Internet disruption, Briar can adapt by employing Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or memory cards to ensure uninterrupted information exchange during crises.
